　「日本人２人がイスラム国に拘束されて身代金を要求されている事件で、日本の安倍晋三首相は人質の命を救うことよりも自分の面目を保つことに必死である」
　「日本政府は昨年11月に後藤健二氏がイスラム国に拘束されて身代金を要求されている事実を把握していたが、何の対応もせずに放置してきた」
　1月20日に日本の外務省が我々海外メディアに対してリリースした公式の英文報告書は、「日本人が誘拐されたのかどうか」もはっきりとは分からない散文で、まさに「混乱の末の傑作」と呼べる奇怪なものだった」(2015年1月23日 楽天ニュース)
